Understanding the Bible

Adult Religious Education is offering a 5 week course on Sunday evenings based on John Buehrens book Understanding the Bible. Readings and discussions will be included.


UU Theology Seminar
Led by Rev. Hepokoski
Saturday Mornings
9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. Chapel

This will be an opportunity to explore UU theology in depth; we’ll read historical and contemporary articles and chapters from books, and we’ll be gaining a sense of the important themes and issues in UU Theology. Meetings are Sept. 12, Oct. 3, Nov. 7, Dec. 12 and Jan. 9.  The class size is limited to 12. Telephone the church office at 282-4209 to register.

 

A Chosen Faith
Book Study

The Chosen Faith Book Study will continue to meet throughout the year. Books focusing on Unitarian Universalist writings will be discussed. Meetings are the second Monday of each month. All are welcome to join the discussion.


Buddhist Interest Group

If you are interested in exploring Buddhism from a UU perspective, please join us. There is a short meditation period followed by a discussion.  We meet the fourth Thursday of each month.  Please join us.

Women of Spirit
7:00 p.m. Thoreau

We will meet regularly to share experiences of change: physically, socially and spiritually. The group is a "circle of learning" model in which leadership is shared.
